Pheromone Repellents

Our Pheromone Repellents & Anti-Aggregants use synthesized insect pheromones like Verbenone and MCH to communicate environmentally safe chemical "messages" to unwanted insects.

Many insects communicate using pheromones. Pheromones can be used to communicate many different messages to insects.  Our pheromone repellants signal arriving insects that they should look elsewhere for a suitable host.

Pheromones have been used as part of integrated pest management programs (IPM) for more than a decade. Verbenone and MCH are used extensively in the battle against bark beetles. Many studies show that areas treated with insect pheromones, as part of an IPM program, fare significantly better than those that are not.

Many insects like wasps are very territorial and will not enter another competing insect's space. Our pheromone repellents act as "scarecrows" that successfully keep these potentially dangerous insects safely away.
